My Thoughts about Boob Shrinkage

In junior high and high school, girls develop breasts. During these formative years, getting bigger breasts feels like a badge of honor. Saying, “My breasts are bigger than yours” is a way for some girls to feel more superior than others. Since I was bullied in school, it felt good to have something to brag about.

Nowadays, I couldn’t care less about comparing breast size. I love my boobs as they are. Would I love them any less if they shrank? I like to think it wouldn’t bother me. It would be nice to lose a few pounds, but doing so will probably mean that they will shrink. Still, I would be willing to risk that for better health.

Right now, you might be wondering why I’m thinking about this at all. If someone’s breasts shrink, they could get breast pedals, push-up bras, or surgery. But those things cost money. Also, surgery could make your breasts look unnatural. I would rather let my boobs run their natural course than spend time and money altering them.

Every woman has a different view on boob shrinkage. Every woman has a different solution. All thoughts and feelings are valid. When it comes down to boob shrinkage (and all body changes), the biggest questions to ask yourselves are these:

  • Why do you want to change your breast size?
  • How much do you care about your breast size right now?
  • How do you think your decision will affect you emotionally and physically?
  • What will happen if you do not…
